Pupil Premium

Pupil Premium is central government funding paid to schools and is designed to support additional provision for students who are or have been in receipt of Free School Meals at any point in the last six years. The Pupil Premium acknowledges the link between economic disadvantage and potential under performance at school.

We base the spending of the Pupil Premium on research and guidance carried out by the Education Endowment Foundation. It sets out the most effective approaches to the spending of the money and their full report can be read here EEF Guidance
