Heads weekly update 17.12.21

Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome to the final update for this year!

It has been a very busy term; I want to thank pupils, staff, parents and our school community for pulling together this term. Learning and having fun has been and always is at the forefront but support, understanding and empathy has been evident especially.

The children have had a wonderful time engaging in Christmas performances, activities and projects. We are so proud of the pupils at KOPA and we hope you have enjoyed our films. We have had some lovely feedback so thank you for your time in letting us know how pleased you were. In addition, I would like to thank you all on behalf of the staff for your kind messages, gifts and cards. They are much appreciated.

We have just celebrated our White Certificate winners in our final assembly of the year. A huge well done to all of you. The common theme was that these children are positive, enthusiastic learners who always try their best and are super role models. Class teachers are incredibly proud. I also want to say well done to our first millionaire ( Charlie) and our 100% certificate raffle winners for their excellent reading commitments. Reading is fun and rewarding for sure!

Our photo above is of the children who decorated our school Christmas tree this year, it looks great! Well done and thank you.

Please take the time to read Mr McCarthy’s letter, it has important messages for the new school year.

Have a very restful time with your families over the break.

I look forward to seeing you all in the new year.

Best wishes,

Miss Baker

(Head of School)
