Head of School Update – 13th November 2020

Dear parents and carers,

Thank you for supporting us through our first positive Covid-19 case, the children came into school on Monday, calm and ready to continue learning. The week has continued with excellent learning and fun, creative and stimulating lessons. Mr Dawson, class teachers and TA’s have been working hard to ensure that learning and safety remains a high priority and I thank each and every one of them for their resilience and dedication.

The writing in Year 6 has been fantastic this term, from mystery stories to argument. The pupils in Clarke and Parks class have been reading ‘The London Eye Mystery’ to inspire them with their own writing. Here, Miss Langton is modelling how to set out a story effectively, the class were super engaged.

The staff are working hard during our inset day. We are devising new Paragon Planners to support learning and developing our Paragon quizzes to make them even better than they already are! We will also be working hard on our assessments.

Have a safe weekend, and I look forward to seeing you all next week!

Kind regards,

Miss N Baker
