Head of School Update – 23rd October 2020

Dear Parents and Carers,

I am writing to you on a crisp, sunny day in October and cannot believe that this will be my last update this term! It has been a busy term with many challenges thanks to Covid-19 but there has been such a positive response from the whole school community and everyone has pulled together, so I send my deepest thanks to you all.

Lights, Camera, Action!

We have been star struck this week. Staff, pupils and parents alike have been helping to create a promotional video for our school website and Facebook page. I would like to say thank you for lending us your children and I would also like to thank James Daly (photographer) and Steven Morely (Film producer) for doing an amazing job!

Above is a fantastic photo, showing just how well Reception have settled this term. They are enjoying a delicious hot meal, prepared with fresh ingredients. Yum! Thank you to the Early Years Team for making lunchtimes a positive experience.

I hope you enjoyed receiving a slide show of your child’s learning this term, I know the pupils and staff have worked incredibly hard, well done! It is a shame we cannot invite you in (as we would do usually) but felt this was still a great way to show you the fantastic learning taking place in school.

Enjoy a well-deserved rest over the October break. I look forward to welcoming you all back to school Monday 2nd November. Stay safe and take care.

Kind regards,

Miss N Baker
