Heads Update 10.7.20

Dear Parents and Carers,

We have had another busy week here at King Offa! The children have been working hard and learning lots; from Victorians to smoothies… the school has been bustling! In the picture above some children are enjoying the outside classroom space!

Today you will receive your child’s report which does look a little different to usual; it is more of a personal statement rather than an academic overview this year, given the circumstances. If there is anything you wish to discuss with your child’s current teacher, please do contact them via email as you have been doing and I am sure they will be very happy to help.

In addition to the report, you will find a new class list for September and a welcome letter/poster from your child’s new teacher…  we hope you receive these well! We have also attached the DFE guidance for parents and carers and would recommend that you read it carefully. It does help us all to understand the requirements for September and may help pupils and parents including school staff to to prepare for the ‘future’ of school. Of course, these plans are only in draft stages at the moment.

We will of course update you as soon as we can; however, we do know that children will be expected to return on Monday 7th September! And I cannot wait to see you all and welcome you all back to school!

As always, thank you for your support and understanding.

Have a lovely weekend and enjoy the sunshine…

Kind regards,

Miss N Baker
