Weekly Update – 23rd March 2018

On Wednesday, we joined with millions of people around the world to show our awareness for ‘World Down Syndrome Day 2018’. Well done to all of the children and staff who wore their funky and odd socks for the day. We learned about the extra chromosome that causes Down’s Syndrome, but celebrated that we are all unique and different but all equal. Inspired by the ‘Carpool’ video, that went viral across social media, we have created our own video, which can be viewed on the school’s Facebook page. Please take a moment to look at this. We hope you will enjoy it!

It’s been a pleasure to celebrate the successes of so many children who have been to see me to share their work this week, each one immensely proud and excited about their achievements! Well done to you all! This means that a new order of new, shiny stickers was needed – they are on their way!

Just to remind you that our Term 4 Paragon events will be taking place next week and we are looking forward to sharing these with you. We hope you will be able to join us for one, some or all of the events.

The last day of term is Thursday 29th March. The school will be closed on Friday 30th March, as its is Good Friday. We look forward to seeing you when the new term starts on Monday 16th April 2018.

As always, thank you for your continued support. Have an enjoyable weekend!
