Weekly Update – 15th September 2017

The first full week of the new academic year at King Offa  is drawing to a close and what a great week it has been. May I thank you all for your continued effort with uniform – children look very smart and it certainly makes a difference to the feel of the school.

Our new Reception children have made a very settled start – it’s hard to believe that they have spent just a few hours in school. They have been learning to share and join in and have had fun exploring their new indoor and outdoor learning environments. Today was their first full day, including having lunch together for the first time in the hall. We look forward to sharing their journey at King Offa with them.

Throughout the school, children have been working extremely hard; standards in presentation are very high, which is great to see, and children have started to use their new Magpie Books to support with their writing.

Please come and join us for the Book Fair, which starts on Monday 18th September – your support will allow the school to buy more books to help improve our library and continue to inspire and nurture our avid readers.

Hopefully, you have all seen the dates and times for this unit’s Paragon events! We really hope you will be able to join us for these! Full details are in this weeks bulletin.

Thank you for your continued support!

Enjoy the weekend!
