Weekly Update – 8th September 2017

A very warm welcome back to all the children, parents and carers!

It has been a really great start to the term and the children have settled very well into their new classrooms. Teachers have been really impressed with the confidence that the children in their new classes have shown and are excited about the year ahead. We understand that some children find the transition to a new year group unsettling and may need extra support in making the change. If that is proving to be the case please speak to your child’s class teacher or a member of staff at the main doors before school.

This week our Reception teachers have been visiting the homes of all of our new children to get to know them and we are really excited about welcoming them into school next week.

I am confident that this will be another really successful year for King Offa school, its pupils, their families and the staff team. We are busy working on our first newsletter that we will share later this term. In it you will find lots of information about the main things we will be working on this year and important dates for your diaries.

As always, many thanks for all your support!

Enjoy the weekend,

James Freeston
