Headteachers Weekly Update – 11th November 2016

It was a real pleasure to take a group of children to Bedgebury Pinetum for a day out today. The lucky children were chosen at random from all the pupils who completed their Paragon homework last term. One child from each class came and it was great to watch our oldest and youngest pupils getting on so well and taking such good care of each other. We spent the day exploring the woods and enjoying the play equipment that is scattered through the forest. Thanks to Mrs Meader and Mrs Crampton for accompanying us.

On Tuesday next week there is a meeting at 9:30 in our new training room to discuss plans for the Christmas Fair that we hope to hold on the 16th of December. We look forward to seeing anyone who can volunteer time to help organise the event or run stalls on the day. Don’t worry if you can’t make it to the meeting. If you’d like to be involved but can’t be there just leave your details at the school office and we’ll get in touch with you.

On Wednesday this week we held our open day events for prospective parents for September 2017. We had loads of visitors looking around the school and dropping in to Red and Blue classes. Our pupil ambassadors did the most fantastic job of showing visitors around the school and impressed everyone who came along. Thank you very much to the children and to the staff who helped run the events.

Enjoy the weekend,

James Freeston
