Head of School Weekly Update – 26th September 2014

Well done to our Kings and Queens of the week who are pictured below enjoying their chance to sit on the golden table at lunchtime. Each week one child from each class is chosen for this special reward as a result of something they have achieved during the week.

A huge thank you to Mrs Denman who ran our Book Fair this week and to all of you who supported the school by buying a book. We raised over £450 for the school. The money will be used to add to our collection of books and support reading across the school. Well done also to Mrs Stinson’s guided reading class. This week every child read at home this week and remembered to bring their signed reading records into school.

We are looking forward to our Harvest Festival assembly on Monday. All donations of food will be passed onto the Bexhill Foodbank.  Details of things that they would like can be found in this week’s bulletin.

We try really hard to make sure that all parents and carers know what is going on at school. We use our website, Facebook page, letters, texts and flyers to keep in touch but we also know that there are occasions when things don’t make it from the classroom to home. If you share an email address with us we are very happy to add you to our mailing list so that all letters are shared directly with you. Please pop in to the office if you want to be added to the list.
